We started Fake Beauty in a small studio in Lisbon, frustrated with the noise. Shelves stacked with twelve-step routines, promises written in superlatives, packaging heavier than the product inside. We wanted to make something honest — formulas you could actually read, bottles you could actually refill, a cadence that felt like taking care, not keeping up.
Five years in, that’s still the brief. Nine products. Zero filler.
